So, who IS this "Mr. Richardson" guy, anyway?
Born in Pennsylvania, Matt Richardson attended Cornell University, from which he recieved a B.A. in History in 1993. After college, he spent the next few years making a living (sort of) as an actor and director, performing with and training actors for various Renaissance Faires. He is the author of a website that serves as a manual for Renaissance Faire performers. Eventually, he became tired of travelling up and down the Eastern United States, and settled here in Florida. Along the way to Pinellas County, Mr. Richardson discovered that he truly enjoyed teaching, and so embarked on a new and exciting career.
Mr. Richardson started teaching at Pinellas Park in 2002 as a long-term substitute and teacher's aide in the GOALS Department. In 2003, he joined the faculty as a contracted teacher in the Social Studies Department.
Mr. Richardson also has earned a Master's Degree in Teaching and Learning from Nova Southeastern University. He lives with his wife and their cats.
